Paleopanagia is a suburb west of Nafpaktos. The wider area experienced intense reconstruction after the construction of the Rio – Antirrio bridge. Paleopanagia does not have a special character as the area is dominated by the shapelessness and indeterminacy of modern suburbs. The ambiguity of the zoning and the diversity of the produced architecture compose an unpredictable space where the natural landscape is gradually replaced by the modern Greek rustic.
