Twisted Terraces explores the relationship between architecture and the steep coastal landscape of Skroponeri, Euboea, through a composition that follows the site’s natural topography while framing panoramic views across the bay.

The ten residences are arranged as a sequence of terraced volumes that adapt to the site’s slope. Their subtle displacement and rotation maximise privacy, natural daylight and uninterrupted sea views, while reinforcing the perception that the architecture emerges naturally from the landscape.

Stone retaining walls, planted terraces and generous outdoor living spaces create a gradual transition between the natural terrain and the built environment, integrating Mediterranean vegetation as an essential component of the architectural composition.

Outdoor spaces and swimming pools are carefully organised to encourage a shared sense of place while preserving the privacy and independence of each residence. The project proposes a contemporary interpretation of holiday living, where landscape, architecture and everyday life merge into a coherent spatial experience.
