Two-Residence House at Kalamos, Attica – GR
Architect: Varvara Christopoulou
A small garden is the heart of the new semi-detached house in the village of Kalamos. The main unit is developed on two levels surrounding the garden, while a smaller apartment has an independent entrance from the street.
As the main house has no view of the public space, the small courtyard becomes its point of reference. A vertical garden extends the limited planting alongside a narrow water feature, creating the feeling of a larger garden. In this way, the courtyard with its green wall becomes a place of contemplation, a small outdoor space that introduces the qualities of a natural landscape into the domestic environment.
